A 10 month program at GENESIS STUDIOS designed to encourage the PROFESSIONAL development of the contemporary dancer. Each dancer accepted into the program receives a CUSTOMIZED and INDIVIDUALLY curated program that is catered to each individual dancers needs and technical goals and direction.

The program aims to meet contemporary(+) dancers where they are and educate, assist, encourage, and strengthen them as they focus on defining their technique as a contemporary dancer and help them define their movement. With focus on professionalism, skill, networking, development, growth, and a safe space dancers learn to push themselves forward as they flourish into the technical artist they desire to be.

The GENPRO Program stands out in Los Angeles as an elite training program that incorporates robust instruction education and facilitation of a dynamic and trailblazing young professional.

After a successful and meaningful first generation of our GENPRO sessions, we were eager to lean in to new ways to support dancers careers and to continue to develop the best program training program in Los Angeles for contemporary(+) dancers. After observing, listening, and celebrating the wins from this past session we decided to increase the program length and to only offer ONE session per year.

By making these changes we believe we are ensuring optimal success for every dancer and embracing the full journey GENPROS embark on with additional time to support and nurture and our focus on only a single session each year ensures the highest level of care and increased personalization.

The GENPRO program seeks to offer dancers an incubator for internal and external development for dancers wishing to focus on their training, build connections, and foster a safe learning environment for themselves while simultaneously being pushed to expand to their fullest potential.

• for dancers who are dedicated to their career and want to focus on accelerating their growth.

The program is open to ALL dancers 18 years of age and older, who are serious about growing their artistry in contemporary dance.

While we encourage everyone to make our in persona audition in Los Angeles on August 5th, we understand that traveling to Los Angeles might not be possible.

We are offering a virtual audition option for this year only. Please make sure to fill out the virtual audition registration.

While we understand that this question makes complete sense, since your time at GENESIS would increase as a GENPRO, we aim to support dancers in their track through the program with balance, time off, and time away from the studio.

Additionally this allows the dancers to focus on being a GENPRO while at the studio, and supports their investment in their training program.

We know that training and programs can be expensive for families and for individuals, and we also know that dance historically and systematically remains inequitable. As our program grows, and our capacity increases we are looking for additional ways to contribute to equitable dance spaces for ALL!

We also believe in the value of our programming and know the training, knowledge, connections, and professionalism the GENPRO program offers is exceptional and the ROI on investment exceeds the cost of the program.

FULL Tuition : $16,950

MONTHLY Tuition : $1,650

PAYMENT PLAN OPTIONS :

OPTION ONE

Pay half of tuition up from and split the rest of the amount over the course of the program.

• $8,475 UP FRONT (Due in August)

• $941 per month for 9 months. (September - May)

OPTION TWO

• Monthly payments of $1,650 (begining in August)

OPTION THREE

Pay in full prior to start date and receive 15% off of tuition

• $14,407.50 TOTAL (must be paid in August)
