Hello beautiful friends and community!
THANK YOU for your support in 2023, it's been a beautiful journey building the studio alongside you and cultivating our shared home at GENESIS STUDIOS. I have been incredibly inspired by each of you this past year and soft in listening to the conversations that have shaped our home. As we continue to grow, I am excited about ways in which the studio can truly support our community and my aim is to partner with you to provide a home that highlights contemporary(+) styles of dance, nurtures exceptional artistry, development, safety, community and reflects the immense value each of you hold. I believe that when we feel valued, we feel seen in our truest expression of who we are, and from there. . .magic happens! My hope is that GENESIS STUDIOS makes you feel valued every time you step in the door, and my aim is that our changes for 2024 reflect our drive to amplify how dancers feel valued in our shared home. I look forward to the continued opportunity of supporting how you #defineyourmovementorigin.

GENESIS STUDIOS now offers a SLIDING SCALE payment option for class, with a minimum rate of $20 per class.
We believe in the good faith of our community and know that dancers value the training they receive. It is with this foundation that we entrust our community with the opportunity to adjust class rates as needed while still supporting the value of our talented ARTISTS offerings. Our intention with this shift aims to offer accessibility while still honoring the value of dance education and seeks to play a significant role in the greater balanced conversation of supporting one another and holding value for our craft.
On average, class in Los Angeles, CA costs $22 a class for a 90 minute class. We suggest a range of $20-$30 dollars for all of our 105 minute classes + 6o minute restorative classes.
We are adding an extra 15 minutes to select classes! yes! 105 minutes of movement, community & ADDED value.
we are very excited to share that our classes are now 105 minutes long. Restorative classes remain the same at 60 minutes. Our new sliding scale payment offering of $20 - $30 applies to all class lengths.
TRANSITIONS ARE IMPORTANT to us! WE’VE KEPT THE 15 MINUTE “LAYOVER” TIME AFTER EVERY CLASS. We believe that GIVING TIME TO COOL DOWN, INVESTing IN YOURSELF, & CULTIVating COMMUNITY is key to garnering the full class experience.
